J.R. and Jenny's Tour of the Souff'

Over the week of Memorial Day Jenny and I took a road trip to South Caroline, via Chattanooga, TN. We spent two nights in a historic Inn in Chattanooga then drove into Charleston, SC for one over night at another cool old brick Inn. Then it was off to Hunting Island State Park for three days of camping at the beach! It was our first time to the Atlantic, and first time in WAY to long to the beach. We got to play in the ocean in the sun for a day and a half, then ride out a beach thunderstorm one night, and enjoy the crazy cloudy skies for the rest of the time.

After the beach we drove down to Savannah, GA for a night and explored the historic downtown. Both Savannah and Charleston are amazingly beautiful cities. From there we drove to Memphis and stayed a night, then on back to KC. We ate like Kings, put 2,600 miles on the car, spent way to much money on gas, and loved every minute of it.

Check out the pictures!:

Great stuff..books to find..."For The Life Of The World" Alexander Schmeman and "Beginning To Pray", Anthony Bloom.

Ichiro's defense has slipped in cf, Dave Cameron has noted it and described overall defense in posts last year...he is not running this year as he has either in outfield or home to first...perhaps he's conserving himself.
